You will be introduced to the use of mortgage finance
for a purchase within a standard residential conveyancing transaction.
You will obtain practical skills to prepare and complete a Sale Contract for registered
freehold land together with associated conveyancing documentation.

Code and Guidance, including the uses of office and client bank accounts.
You will
make accounting entries to demonstrate receipts, payments and transfers of office and client
money, and to correct errors.
You will also prepare conveyancing statements and
demonstrate your understanding of billing procedures and paying interest to clients.
On successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
Apply the rules and principles set out in the CLC Accounts Code and Guidance to
practical scenarios in a Conveyancing context
Record conveyancing transactions relating to freehold and leasehold property in a
double entry book-keeping system
Prepare an invoice for a conveyancing transaction, including any relevant VAT, and
